The Never Failing Spring in the Desert

My name is Angelina Bayrak and I am a junior at Lake Norman High School. At school, I participate in many clubs, some of which include Future Business Leaders of America, Mu Alpha Theta (math team), Student Council, and National Honors Society. In my free time, I practice Cross Country and Track, and volunteer at the Mooresville Public Library. Through my library, I have found resources for studying, received technology help, and become a part of the Teen Advisory board which hosts events for teens to involve them in the library.

A library is the cornerstone
Of an informed community
It offers every person
A chance and opportunity

Libraries provide guidance,
Safety and education
All of which are a part of
A democracy’s foundation
