Mr. Franklin is a retired electrical engineer and a parent.
Now that he is retired, Mr. Franklin has a lot more time on his hands and our winters are usually long and dreary.
Our library is providing free books, movies, music, magazines and newspapers as well as friendly faces to all those finding themselves with limited resources and more time on their hands.
Mr. Franklin is happily making his way through our free movies and books and can be seen in the library at least once a week and sometimes more often.
Libraries change lives!
Normally, the parent brings the child into the library to get their first library card. Mr. Franklin is 79 years old and had never had a library card until his daughter brought him to the library and introduced him to our many books, movies and resources.
