Adel, a mother of three young children, shared that she has been taking advantage of the Reading Buddies and free tutoring services available at her library, and since her children started coming three months ago their progress has been very noteworthy. Her sons attend a school where everything is taught in French, so even though they were strong readers (in French) in the past, they needed to focus on reading in English. One of her sons came to tutoring not able to read English, and now he reads at a Level One in the Easy Reader section with confidence! She said all the Reading Buddies and Tutors have been excellent, and she was overjoyed that the library offers this service.
