Ms. Walker, a local high school principal, was working to complete requirements for a PhD, and she needed help with research for her doctoral dissertation.
When she came to the Hickory Public library, staff in the library’s Carolina Room provided assistance with primary research for her dissertation.
With the help of the library, Ms. Walker completed her dissertation and was awarded a PhD degree this year!
