A young woman named Susie came to our Spangler Branch Library. She had just received her CNA II certification and her husband had been out of work for a considerable time.
She did not know how to apply for a job online, nor did she know how to prepare a resume.
The branch librarian took the time to sit down with Susie at a public computer and walk her through the steps of creating a resume, getting an email account and applying for jobs online.
She came back to the library to let the branch librarian know that because of her help she had obtained a fulltime position in her field. This was a godsend to her and her family because they would now have a steady income for the family.
