Caroline is from Shelby, North Carolina and is an 11th grader at Carolina Pines Academy Homeschool. Her essay describes how libraries have been a significant part of her life since early childhood.
“She volunteers weekly at the Cleveland County Library and also takes classes at the community college.
She greatly enjoys the performing arts and often appears at the library and elementary schools as the Cat in The Hat.
She is a member of the North Carolina Baptist All-State Youth Choir.
Caroline also loves reading, writing, music and coffee.
She hopes to continue her college education and become a forensic psychologist.”
