“Ruth Ramires-Lopez is a seventh grader at West Wilkes Middle School. She is the daughter of immigrants from Guatemala.
Ruth’s parents came to America 15 years ago.
Ruth enjoys playing soccer and wants to be a Pediatrician when she grows up. She is excited for this opportunity to see Washington, DC because it will be her first trip to the Nation’s Capitol.”
Ruth is from North Wilkesboro, North Carolina and is a 7th grader at West Wilkes Middle School.
